The Big Sunday Breakfast at the 

Sunday 2nd December / 6th January / 3rd February

Served from 9.30am – 10.45am at the Village Hall. Come along to the hall and support fundraising for your local Church. Enjoy a delicious home cooked breakfast in good company and lovely surroundings! Choose from fruit juice, grapefruit, cereals, bacon, eggs, sausage, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, toast, pancakes and maple syrup, tea and coffee. Vegetarian options available. Still only £5.50 (£3 under 14’s). A short informal Sunday Praise service follows at 11.15 – please join us – you will be made very welcome!

Christmas Carols with Berry Hill Band Sunday 9th December 3pm – Carol Service in church Join us for our annual carol service with Berry Hill Brass Band as we tell the Christmas Story in carols and songs of celebration. Also joining us this year will be 1st Goodrich Rainbows and Brownies to help us with the singing!!

There will be a Christmas produce stall to stock up on Christmas goodies, handmade cards and more. Mulled Wine and mince pies will be served after the service.

VILLAGE HALL NEWS Christmas Community LunchSunday 16th December 1pm. A traditional Roast Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings and delicious homemade puddings!

Doors and Bar open at 12.30 pm. As always this is very popular and

Tickets will be on sale for theChristmas Draw which will take place after the lunch. WE WOULD
BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR ANY OFFERS OF HELP SETTING UP AND CLEARING UP! It’s a huge task made easier with your help!!! Thank you!

Our Village Hall is a thriving hub of the community here in Bishopswood with regular classes from dance and exercise of various forms to short mat bowls and Bridge clubs, Rainbows and Brownies, children’s gym class, toddler groups and a monthly luncheon club and W.I.

We organise several fundraising events for our hall throughout the year and have a busy calendar of private hire bookings for parties, weddings and outside fundraisers.

And not forgetting the bi-annual Bishopswood Panto – Oh yes we do!!!!

‘The Bar’ is available for all events and along with the committee is run by a very small group of volunteers. We are always grateful for offers of help at any of our functions and welcome anyone who would like to join the committee or just support us in any other way!
