During Remembrance we pause to remember all who have given their lives in war and conflict, and all who continue to bear its scars. We give thanks for their courage, sacrifice, and service, while holding in our prayers those who mourn and those who work for peace. As Christians, we remember in the light of Christ, who came to bring peace to a broken world. In him, we find hope that God’s kingdom of justice and peace will be fully known among all people.
