Kingdom

God’s plan was, and is, to build a world without pain or sickness, without griefs and sorrows, without guilt and shame. This is God’s kingdom – heaven on earth. Jesus affirmed that the kingdom of heaven is within reach. He demonstrated this truth by teaching and healing all who came in response to the news, giving generously to all without finding fault. God says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. Through the cross on which Jesus has died, the doorway to this heavenly kingdom is held open for us to receive healing in body, mind and spirit, to the delight of God our Father in heaven. It is a truth that Jesus is alive again and still working to our healing benefit and to bring praise to God our Father for his grace.

You might want to prayer the following prayer:

Father in heaven, we thank you for sending Jesus. We thank you that, on the cross, he has taken all our pain and carried all our sickness, all our guilt and all our shame and that by his wounds we are healed. Father, we thank you that these promises are never ‘no’ but are always ‘yes` in Christ, to the delight of God. He has opened the floodgates of your healing grace, the river of life, of sparkling grace, which flows down the middle of the street in heaven, underneath the tree with the leaves for the healing of the nations and into everything that troubles us. We thank you that Jesus is alive and working still. Because of his work on the cross we are qualified to receive the healing Grace of God that fills and overflows the kingdom. We thank you that your healing Grace overflows into this world today and always will and all to the delight of God, our Father in heaven. Amen.
